The School
The Llar d'en Pitus - "Pitus Nursery School" is a private nursery school that is:
- trilingual (Catalan, Spanish, and English).
In our preschool, we teach in English as much as in Catalan and Spanish so that our pupils are able to learn with equal ease in all three languages. Since language is best learned in context, we also teach our pupils the traditions that sustain each language's worldview. For this reason, the daycare's curriculum includes local, regional and Anglo-Saxon traditions. - approved by the Generalitat.
Although it is private, our school is approved by the Direcció General de Centres Docents de la Generalitat de Catalunya. That is, unlike many other private nursery schools, our policies and facilities (class sizes, pupil/teacher ratios, hygiene, food safety) comply with or exceed the local government's regulations.
